Ronald,
Sorry its taken so long to respond to your request. This forum is new for us and we're getting adjusted. Will have a recommendation for you shortly. Have you checked with your town's Conservation Advisory Council (CAC)? Look for the contact information on your town's web site.

Hi Bob, thanks for the info and the great presentation last night - when you get a chance, please send a copy of a real powerpoint that you may have presented to the Planning Board and we can circulate to the EMC. Thanks - Vicky

I am looking for an environmental planner to hire in order to help me and other residents on my street to review the plans being proposed to town planning board for a commercial development adjacent to our homes. Zoning no longer requires any screened buffers and it is up to the discretion of the local planning board for this protection. I would like someone to review the SEQRA application and help us understand any adverse plans that we are local residential community need to challenge.

The Beekman CAC has begub giving GIS presentations to the Beekman Planning Board. These presentations have gone very well. We are working on a standard format using a template so that any of our CAC members can give the presentation. If your CAC is interested in GIS Planning Board presdentaton, please contact me. I believe that a standard that can be used by all CAC's is possible. This would help us to share resources and ideas for improvement.
